Sheriff's Drug Enforcement Unit makes Trafficking Arrest

On the evening of July 9th, 2024, Agents with the Morgan County Sheriff's Drug Enforcement Unit and the Morgan County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team executed a narcotics search warrant in the 1200 block of Beltline Rd in Decatur.
During the execution of the search warrant, law enforcement located Rashod Martel Lampkin, 31 of Decatur, and Steve Arsenio Lampkin, 33 of Decatur.
During a search of the residence, Agents located quantities of methamphetamine, cocaine, cocaine base, marijuana, counterfeit pills, and drug paraphernalia.
After conducting the search, Agents placed Rashod Lampkin under arrest for:

13A-12-212 - Unlawful Possession/Receipt of Controlled Substance

13A-7-6 - Burglary 2nd Residence-No Force
13A-12-260 - Unlawful Possession Drug Paraphernalia
13A-12-214 - Dangerous Drugs-POM 2 Possession of Marijuana
13A-12-211 - Dangerous Drugs-Cocaine-Sell/Distribute
13A-12-211 - Dangerous Drugs-Methamphetamine-Sell/Distribute
Steve Lampkin was placed under arrest for a misdemeanor warrant with Decatur Police Department.
Rashod Lampkin was transported to and booked in the Morgan County Jail. A Morgan County Circuit Judge set his bond at $478,000.00.
