Corrections Officer Locate Fentanyl, Cocaine on Inmate

The Morgan County Jail works to fight jail contraband around the clock. From utilizing the body scanner and strip searches to jail shakedowns, it is a never-ending process.
On June 6, 2024 Corrections Officers located a trafficking weight of fentanyl along with cocaine on an inmate.
Asley Nicole Taymon, 37 of Harvest now faces the additional charges of:
- 13A-10-37 - Dangerous Drugs-PPC Promote Prison Contraband (Drugs)
- 13A-12-212 - Dangerous Drugs-POC Cocaine-Possession
- 13A-12-231 - Dangerous Drugs-Drug Trafficking - Fentanyl
Taymon is already in jail on the following charges:
- 2-17-34 - Fraud-Miscellaneous
- 13A-8-4 - Theft 2nd Miscellaneous ($1500 to $2500)
- 13A-10-33 - Flight/Escape-Escape
- 9999 - Violation of CCP
- 13A-6-21 - Assault 2nd (Non-Family-Other Weapon)
- 13A-6-21 - Assault 2nd (Non-Family-Strong Arm)
- 15-18-121 - Obstruction-Conditional Release Violation
