Investigators make arrests for Chemical Endangerment

Morgan County Sheriff's Office Investigators recently arrested 2 subjects, in separate cases, on charges of Chemical Endangerment of a Child.

DUDLEY, KAYLA LAUREN

On March 28, 2024, Kayla Lauren Dudley, 29 of Falkville was arrested on 3 warrants for 26-15-3.2 Chemical Endangerment of exposing a child to an environment in which controlled substances are produced or distributed. The case was referred to our Criminal Investigations Division by Morgan County DHR after multiple children failed a drug screening. The subject was transported to and booked into the Morgan County Jail. Bond 7500.00


BARRY, CHELSEA JESSICA

On April 1, 2024, Chelsea Jessica Barry, 35 of Lacey's Spring was arrested on a warrant for 26-15-3.2 Chemical Endangerment of exposing a child to an environment in which controlled substances are produced or distributed. The case was referred to the Criminal Investigations Division by Morgan County DHR after a positive test for Fentanyl during a pre-natal appointment. An additional child also failed a drug screening. The subject was transported to and booked in the Morgan County Jail. Bond 2500.00.
