Investigation leads to 2 search warrants, arrests and more

During the last several months, Agents with the Morgan County Sheriff's Drug Enforcement Unit opened an investigation involving drug trafficking of methamphetamine and fentanyl. The suspect in the case was identified as Terrence Lamar Gladney, 33 of Decatur.
In the early evening hours of February 22, 2024, Agents with the Morgan County Sheriff's Drug Enforcement Unit executed search warrants in the 1300 Blk of 9th Ave SE and the 2300 Blk of Gaslight PL SW in Decatur.


During the search, the following items were located:
▪️34 grams of fentanyl
▪️4.4 ounces of cocaine
▪️24 grams of crack/cocaine
▪️8 grams of methamphetamine
▪️6 ounces of marijuana
▪️2 pounds of THC gummies
▪️ $7,300.00 of U.S. Currency
▪️4 firearms.

Christopher Amadi, 39 of Decatur, was arrested at the scene and charged with:
▪️Trafficking Fentanyl
▪️Possession of Controlled Substance-Meth
▪️Marijuana 2nd
▪️Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Amadi was transported to and booked in the Morgan County Jail. Bond $11,600.00.

Terrence Lamar Gladney, 33 of Decatur, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd and was booked into the Morgan County jail on a $300.00 Bond.

Agents determined that additional charges were warranted and obtained additional warrants on Gladney after his release. He is now wanted on the following felony charges:
▪️Trafficking Fentanyl
▪️Trafficking Methamphetamine, Trafficking Cocaine
▪️Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine
▪️Forbidden Persons-Possessing Firearms
