On September 13th, 2023, Agents with the Morgan County Sheriff's Drug Enforcement Unit along with Deputies and Investigators, executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence on Terry Rd in Hartselle, Alabama.

Upon entry, Agents made contact with Jody Brian Maples, 50 of Hartselle, and located 4.8 ounces of a crystal-like substance, that field tested positive for Methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia as well as items commonly used to sell and distribute narcotics.

Jody Brian Maples was placed under arrest for
▪️13A-12-231 - Dangerous Drugs-Drug Trafficking - Methamphetamine
▪️13A-12-260 - Unlawful Possession Drug Paraphernalia
Maples was transported to and booked in the Morgan County Jail. Bond $150,300.00.
