The Morgan County Sheriff's Office launched a new mobile App available for download in the Google Play and Apple store. If you currently have the old app, you must remove it and download the new one to see the new information.

The App is free for users to download on both Android and iOS mobile devices. To download, go to the Google Play or Apple store and type "Morgan County Sheriff Alabama" in the search bar.

The mobile App allows residents and visitors quick, easy access to the most important features of the website: Contact Us, Submit a Crime Tip, Inmate Roster, Message from Sheriff, and Press Releases.

The App user has the ability to select which push notifications they would like to subscribe to, including daily inmate roster notifications, Message from the Sheriff, and press release alerts. The new mobile App will serve as an additional information resource for the public and will assist with community policing efforts.

"The new mobile App not only features information for the public, but it also allows us in the Sheriff's Office to update information more quickly and efficiently while we are on a crime scene or on the go. The new App makes it simple to publish an alert to our community at the time when a disaster or important event occurs. The App continues to provide transparency for the Sheriff's Office and encourages the public to take a more active role in community policing efforts. We invite every County resident or visitor to download our new App and sign up for our push notifications. We believe this App will be a huge benefit to the Sheriff's Office and the residents of Morgan County as well," said Sheriff Puckett.
