Suspect Rams Police Cars Before Arrest

On September 15th, 2025, Agents with the Morgan County Sheriff's Drug Enforcement Unit attempted to execute and serve active arrest warrants on two individuals who were suspects in recent narcotics investigations.
The individuals were observed sitting in their vehicle at Ross Clothing in the Target parking lot located near Beltline Rd and 6th Ave in Decatur.
As Agents pulled near the vehicle, Brandy Atchley Wallace, the driver, crashed into Agents' vehicles several times in an effort to leave the parking lot; however, her efforts were futile. Agents breached Atchley's window, and she and Michael Wayne Jones were detained a short time later.
After processing the scene, Agents placed Atchley and Jones under arrest. They were transported to the Morgan County Jail where Atchley was booked on the following charges:

▪️13A-10-129 - Tampering with Physical Evidence
▪️13A-12-212 - Unlawful Possession/Receipt of Controlled Substance
▪️13A-6-24 - Reckless Endangerment
▪️13A-10-52 - Attempting to Elude a Police Officer (Felony)
▪️13A-7-21 - Criminal Mischief 1st (Other
Bond set at $371,200.00
Jones was booked on the following charges:
▪️13A-12-212 - Unlawful Possession/Receipt of Controlled Substance
▪️13A-12-260 - Unlawful Possession Drug Paraphernalia
Bond set at $1,300.00
