On April 29, 2025, the Morgan County Sheriff's Fugitive Unit executed a Grand Jury arrest warrant on Hope Marie Robbins, 54 of Lacey's Spring, for Forgery 3rd Degree.

The charges stem from a Criminal Investigations Division case involving the fraudulent use of checks and bank cards. Robbins allegedly took the checks and bank cards after cleaning an individual's home.
