On February 16, 2025 Deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of NE Fields Rd in Lacey's Spring. During the stop K9 Deputy Gator alerted to the presence of narcotics. During a search, 7.4 grams of Fentanyl was located.

Deputies arrested:

David Aaron Howard, 31 of Valhermoso Springs. He is charged with:

• 13A-12-231 Dangerous Drugs-Drug Trafficking

He was transported to and booked in the Morgan County Jail. Bond: $10,000.00
